If the problem is so common, how come it's not a universal problem.

I think that's what GM is trying to figure out. The bad press and high number of buybacks isn't fun for them I'm sure.

Most seem not be having those problems.
To me that sounds like a wheel/tire issue. I'd start with a good road force balance.

That's what they've been doing. Sounds like for some vehicles the vibration remains even after replacing tires multiple times (and doing road force balancing) for others it helps.

I have to say this.

I have a 15 Tahoe a 151/2 suburban and 16 Tahoe.

I had heard a noise in the burb that when I took the roof cross members off. It went away. Now I did change the tires out to some michelins and use Mobil 1 oil. I keep my tire pressure at about 35lbs and did road force balance my tires.

Other than that not much. I travel on the highway on a regular basis. 65 regularly

65 is about the only mph that doesn't seem to cause anyone any issues. 80 or so is when vibration seems to kick in. But in the 5 or so I've driven it was only present in 2 of them.

Its not the tires it only happens in my vehicle between 1100 rpm and now after the service recall it goes up to 1500 rpm at any car speed if you go to manual it goes away. and when its in V4 only.

There is a service bulletin for transmission clutch chatter. That is there excuse for not being able to fix the V4 shudder.
