I think I may have found an a/c shop that specializes in this mess.

How much do you think I should be willing to pay to install a new accumulator, orifice, hi and low side switches, condesner and compressor. And of course vaccuum and recharge, remember this is New York.........

Did this shop put the gauges on the system and is that what they are telling you needs to be replaced?

For installation? No way...( I have the parts)

oh....sorry, I musta missed the part where you already had the parts in your possession. I'd say about $500 then if not a little more considering they charge at least $80 per hour (at least in my area) for labor.
