How much is my Tahoe worth? Might be selling.

Yea make sure to emphasize the 1500 dollar stereo system that "he wont have to install because its already there!"

if they lowball say you cant do it because "im losing too much money on this truck, id rather just keep it at that price"

i also think the fact that your tahoe has a navigation installed already is a good selling point, we NEVER see that. when car buyers get to see all the cool little toys already installed their panties get wet...

ive had buyers come up and put the cash in my hand without even a test drive! haha. Also seen people (old folks) come in and pay 3-4k above book for POS cars like PT cruisers....

and please dont hate on me, im just the advertising and part time salesman. all these cruel tactics are from my old boss, and hes one of the most successfull used car dealerships in oakland/san leandro and can clock 20k profit to himself in a good month. i personally dont like over taxing people but he does it without blinking, hes jewish if that means anything.

hahahaha this is hilarious to me! I've got somebody coming to look at it tomorrow night for $10,500.

Not to mention that NOBODY is paying KBB prices anymore. Most trucks sell for well UNDER KBB price.
Eagle is 100% correct, unmod it and sell that stuff privately, you will get more for it that way.

I think to start at $2k ABOVE! KBB is not a very smart move if you really want to sell it.
Sadly you just have to bite the bullet on trying to get what YOU think it's worth.
Mine's a 2004 with 75K in amazing condition in and out, no cracked leather, paint in excellent condition and I spent $14K on the truck and about $7K in total on mods
There is no way I would get $22K for it now. I did all the mods for the love of the truck and I intend to keep it for a while and enjoy the fruits of my labor of love.

Good luck anyways, hope you get what you want for it

^yea there comes a point where you are in your car soo much money that it just makes no sense to sell it unless you feel like losing money.

Lol, man after all the sheit you were talking, I RESPECT you for coming back and posting you were wrong. People need to understand that those value guides are just that, A Guide. The worth of a anything is what someone else is willing to pay to acquire it. He did a hell of a job gettin what he wanted for it.

Your exactly right! In someone else's eyes it could hold a much higher value! Thanks!
