Hi Tech wizards,
My AC pump of my 2007 Yukon Denali died for the second time in 4 weeks. My mechanic now suspects other reasons for the breakdown of the AC. As this truck is very rare in The Netherlands he is trying to figure out how much oil will go into the AC.
He put in what he took out of the first broken AC but now he wants to be sure it's the correct volume.
So how much needs to go in and what kind of oil does it require?
Your help is much appreciated

Hello Carlo, in your system PagÖl 46 comes in, to the filling quantities I can only give those of 2003 - 2004, but they should be almost identical, because in my 2016 also almost the same amount comes.

2003-2004TAHOE w/ Front AC Only ...R134a25.50PAG 468.00
TAHOE w/ Front & Rear AC ...R134a43.00PAG 4611.00
Suburbans Only w/ Front AC Only ...R134a25.50PAG 468.00
Suburbans Only w/ Front & Rear AC ...R134a48.00PAG 4611.00

if the compressor was defective you have guaranteed chips in the system and thereby you make every new compressor broken again, so the best thing would be to disassemble everything and flush, the Orifice Tube, A / C Receiver Drier / Accumulator of course also out and replace, otherwise it happens again, so it was with me also

Thanks all for your help. My mechanic was already planning on flushing the system. Good to her that that is the way to go. Right now 90 degrees over here in The Netherlands so I miss my AC....
