My local guy says $2400 for the 20" KMC slides chrome w/ Nitto 420s
Living in a rural area I like to spend my money with him and would rather not order from the web. Of course the wife thinks this is too much. Just looking for a Lil advice here, I will go the web route if it is a lot cheaper but then I have to factor in shipping and paying someone to put them on. Thanks guys

Chrome 20' slides go for around $1,165 shipped on ebay.

Nittos that size are around $700-$750 shipped.

Add lugs and sensors you'll be at $2K give and take a few bucks if you order through the web ... plus install/balancing/lugs and all that say another $100 or so.

So it's a matter of deciding if spending locally is worth saving the difference ... if his price is out the door then it might be worth it if you have to run into him in church every Sunday. :)

I just got me a rim & tire package from my local store $1250 16" tire and rims. Yes i could Have got them for cheaper from the web. And after alignment, balance, lugs and row hazard it added up to be they same price. I think if sum-thing goes wrong with you tire, I believe you have to ship your tire back. Even if they pay for shipping, still have to pay some 1 to take your tire off. And then you have to wait for your tire to come back, and once again you have to pay some 1. Most local tire shops price match TireRack.com.

If you're spending 2400 hit up OEM parts direct for OEM 22's for 2200 complete with tires, mount and balance,... The whole works!! : waytogo:

Good Point.. That do seem high for some 20" KMC.. And for the money he's spending I do think he can get sumthing way better. You should print out your check out order and see if the guy can come down on the price. I don't think he will let 2k walk out his store with out trying to work a deal.
