one hour or so to get old pump off. 5 hours cussing at fan if it is stuck on clutch. You have to remove the clutch from the old water pump to reuse the fan blade on a new fan clutch! I just had to do this on one of my 2003 tahoes. Water pump mechanical seal finally decided to leak substantially.
