I have a 2003 GMC YUKON XL 2500 4X4 WITH Magna Ride shocks, at least that's what I was told. The shocks have a single point on top where the wiring plug attaches. I cannot find any information on these Delphi shocks, Orange and black in color. I need to bypass them so I can replace them with after market shocks. I cannot find any bypass kits for these let alone any information on them. Does anyone have information.

I wasn't aware that Magna Ride existed on our generation of trucks. All mine have air shocks.

I believe there are instructions in our forum -- just search on bilstein. Alternatively, you can likely find instructions on one of the GM truck forums.

I do suggest, if it is in your budget, that you simply replace them. They are nice riding shocks.

3-5 Ohm, 50 Watt resistors spliced into the two wires (after removing the connector shown in your photo) on all 4 shocks. You could probably get away with 10 watt resistors, as well.

I will tell you that I've had both the passive and the active suspension setup on my 07 Yukon XL Denali, and I much prefer the active system. The replacement Magneride (Z95 on RPO sticker) shocks are now lifetime warranted, if you purchase them from GM. At GMPartsDirect.com, they cost about $350 each.
