My AEM Bruteforce air filter has been drying for over 15 hours now and still isn't fully dry. I can still shake out some water from it. I need to use my Tahoe soon so besides using compressed air, anybody know any tricks to speed up the drying process? Can I use a hair dryer on low from a distance? LOL

if you want it dry in a hurry, just put it on the truck and start it up and drive around the block. take it off and oil it.

Thread is a little old, but I dried the el cheapo fram filter in the g/f's mustang more than once with no problems. She didn't have fender wells for a while and any time it rained it would soak the filter. The filter dried in a deformed state but there wasn't much hope after it got wet any way. The AEM shouldn't have that kind of trouble though.

I put the stock filter in and use it for a few days while the aftermarket filter gets cleaned and dries.

I keep a spare filter on hand for this same reason.
