Is there anything I have to do to eliminate my ac unit on my truck? I don't use it and it takes up space and hides my engine. What do i have to do to eliminate it? Do I need new pills, bent well it affect any sensors?

Why? It's not hard but you have to get the Freon pulled. On my del sol I pulled it all except for under dash stuff. Real easy

Ok thanks man, yeah removing it should be easy,I just want sure if by removing it it would mess up any sensors our off I would have to change pullys or anything. I don't ever use ac I live in Michigan so are
summers are short and not that warm. Just trying to free up space in my engine compartment. And the ac hasn't worked in years.so no point in having all that junk under the hood

Ac compressor can stay but when it goes boom just run a ac bypass pulley. That's what I got on my Tahoe right now but gonna put ac back in

unknown at this time.
fix the system it significantly helps with defogging windows. without it heat alone could take a really long long time to defog windows on a mich winter day. compressor and heat can knock it down in about a minute and keep it down.
