I'm trying remove the appliqué above the license plate, having a hell of a time trying to get the 4 nuts of the bolts.
I removed the interior plastic panels, removed the wiper motor. And when I try and loosen the nuts the nut and bolt both spin. I have tried everything I can think of including searching here and Google trying to figure it out.
Any thoughts?
Thanks guys

just have to pull it off and break the bolts. GM uses lock tite on them and you've already broken the tabs.

How do I remove the Tahoe rear applique above tag?

If you have access to a small mini butane torch, hit the nuts / bolts with it real quick then remove the nut. Works every time and doesn't break them off.

unfortunately he already broke the tabs or that could work...

When I took Jacobs off, his came off without breaking any tabs. I've taken 2 off mine and broke the tabs every time :(

Ok, so assuming I have already broken the tabs bc the bolt with nut spin. So from reading the link, I'm just gunna pull appliqué and break the tabs off while doing it? Than just in weld them back together?
I have pulled pretty hard and almost seems the appliqué is gunna break not the tabs or whatever on the inside

you can try pulling the applique while turning the nuts, but yes, you've already broke the applique where the T bolts go, so you can just pull it off. then take pliers to hold the bolt and take the nuts off from the inside.

Got it off, I finished what I needed to do. Got jb weld in there now just waiting for it to harden, than I'll put it back on either tonight or tomorrow.
Question though should I use a torch on the nuts maybe to help them go on easier?
