How to stiffen suspension/stop swaying?

One of my #HAUTEHOE 's upgrades was the solid front and rear antisway bar upgrade from Belltech. I kept stress bending and breaking the rear bushing brackets so I did some investigative bargain shopping and found a billett aluminum bracket from a company in southern california that designs them for side by side UTV's. I found a set that almost exactly mimicked my factory bracket footprint for around $60 delivered. I installed them on the rear so far and, Bam! They even came with zerk fittings so I can lubricate the urethane bushings as needed. Finding a set from an outfit that makes them specifically for an '08 Tahoe would have run me over $300.

Clarified as the front jounce stops; they should be in good shape and in contact with the lower control arms at ride height.

I just noticed that my jounce stops were touching the lower control arms on level ground and I assumed that meant the front suspension was sagging (260k miles) and I thought of try to stiffen up the torsion bars. But you say that is normal?

Yes, normal. The point that the jounce stop touches the lower control arm is a fulcrum and should be in contact at ride height.

When I bought my 04 LT last year it already had Bilstein 5100's in the front and 4600's in the back. I dont know how old they are as the truck had several owners. The truck has a bounce but what I dislike the most is the side to side sway on the freeway and over bumps. Its pretty floaty and has a body roll.

The truck has new sway bar end links as well as new inner and outer tie rods and an alignment.

I am right on the brink of needing new tires

Will a new set of 5100's fix this problem? Are there other, smaller suspension parts that would fix the issue before going for new shocks? Thanks.

In my "Under Construction" thread I talk about the new Hellwig front and rear sway bars I just installed. If you want to feel a stiffness and feel flat around corners and curves, install the two kits, 7701 and 7702, and never look back. Best "seat of the pants" part(s) I have installed so far. Very very happy with my decision.

Shocks probably won’t stop swaying. There’s a few suspension and steering parts that need to be inspected though. It all works together. Sway bars, end links and bushings, tie rods, pitman arm, idler arm & bracket, ball joints.

I just replaced all my suspension everything you can imagine except the actual sway bar and rear sway bar links

I’m starting to think my shocks have gotten bad since I’m on a 2/4 drop with Monroe shocks all round

I did not have a sway problem but did have more body roll than I wanted. I tend to drive the hell out of my rigs and it would lean quite a bit in curves and cloverleafs. After the sway bar kits install, that is now gone. When you say "sway" are you talking about a "rocking side to side effect"?
