Manners Really. Those would of been some great pictures for forum members to see who have never been to Detroit or Dearborn. They wrap these new trucks up in a Camo Zebra wrap so nobody can get a good look at the new body lines when they test drive these Trucks out on the public streets.I was in Detroit last week and driving down Woodward ave and witnessed a full camo 2021 or 2022 suburban broke down in a Michigan left turn around. It had the GM police trucks With their flashing light blocking it On both sides while waiting for a tow truck.
I thought about Turing around to get a good set of pictures but decided to have some manners. The breakdown was Not a good sign!
IMO.. if you wanna start throwing “real truck” around. I’d say anything from 92-06 falls in that category. 2007 is when they started to pretty them up. And 15 is when they got sharp. (Just retired my 00’ Tahoe and bought myself a 15 yukon Denali). I’m gonna enjoy my girlie truck lol
I would expect someone that has been making engines for this long to have everything done correct i suspect the new AFM brokeI dont disagree, worked for General motors and have built and driven many mules and prototypes. I seriously doubt that vehicle was a "Mule" it looked like at least a gamma or non salable build. At that stage I would expect those kind of troubles to be detected at Milford not Woodward
they only cleaned it up because of MPG, the gains are significant considering on Engine only I can get 22mpg City with the 6.0L(on ICE only 100%)IMO.. if you wanna start throwing “real truck” around. The 2021 Suburban probably just ran out of fuel. The driver probably did not want to stop to get fuel and be asked a bunch of questions from other motorists there. If I was there I would be checking it out and asking questions.
