Line pressure is usually 45-80PSI at idle. Can reach 300PSI at WOT. My compressor is good for 185PSI. I was thinking about adding compressed air on the discharge side of pump to help agitate the fluid but I didn’t want to make a mess increasing the pressure on the return side into the bucket.

I ordered a cooler tonight. Sum ***** is $175!! But it’s insurance. I don’t wanna be doing this again any time soon.

I thought it was around 60-80. Had no idea it could get 300! Oh well, that $175 is cheap insurance and peace of mind when not spending it could cost you 15 times that!

I took that little oem cooler off and put a tru-cool 40k in it's place that and a b&m pan and it dropped the trans temps way down I can barely get it to hit 180 beating on it in 100+ deg weather, normally it stays about 135 deg now. Before it was always running 190-220 or more

I took that little oem cooler off and put a tru-cool 40k in it's place that and a b&m pan and it dropped the trans temps way down I can barely get it to hit 180 beating on it in 100+ deg weather, normally it stays about 135 deg now. Before it was always running 190-220 or more

Got a link? Direct replacement? Or am I gonna have to change the fittings?

I did this on my truck. Ran 2 coolers, one has a thermostatically controller fan. Same thing, dropped my temps by 60-80* while towing. Also did a PPE pan and switched to Amsoil at the same time.

But I also changed the lines to braided lines and AN fittings. I don’t wanna do that to this.

I just bought another one for the 18 Silverado couple weeks ago, I think this is about the best price around still. I just used the rubber hose and fitting that are included with the cooler and clamped over the factory lines. I used a bracket to move the ambient temp sensor over a few inches because it kept telling me it was 125 deg''s outside because it was sitting behind the cooler, when i mounted the cooler I used some 1" stand-off's I didn't want it flush up against the radiator support. I originally went with a flex-a-lite but it's didn't do shit

this is the B&M deep trans pan it helped in part of that, it gives you an extra 2qt capacity, It takes about 3 months to get one they are always on back order nobody has them in stock, I am waiting on one for the Silverado for almost 2 months now

I can’t bring myself to use rubber hose on a barbed fitting with a hose clamp for a trans line. I seen a buddy do it on a brand new trans and hose popped off and puked all the ATF out and smoked the new trans. They rebuilt it again because he said it just stopped working but I made him use hard lines and fittings. Shamed him into it really. I couldn’t imagine having my family loaded up heading up north and the line blow off. I’ve just seen too many things that can go wrong, go wrong.

But I like that pan. I may have to order one. Thanks for the links. I’m gonna see if I can find factory fittings to fit that cooler.
