I destroyed mine trying to remove them. I was going to replace them anyway and had a new set ready so I was good to go. I would advise installing new wires anyway since they don't cost that much.

All of the plugs are very easy to remove save for the passenger side rear plug. What a B*tch that was. I used a 3/8" universal and some combination of extensions with a spark plug 5/8" socket. A lot easier with the universal. Don't tackle the job unless you have it.

When I changed them on my '03 Tahoe I found the easiest way to do the rear passenger side plug was to reach down and put the socket by itself onto the spark plug. Then reach down with the ratchet and attach it to the socket. Once the ratchet is on the socket there's enough room to rotate it enough to remove the spark plug. I ended up not needing any extensions or universal joints, etc.
