I am looking at wheels for the Suburban and was trying to remember what the max wheel and tire size was before you had to alter the suspension. Also does anybody recommend any suspension mods to try to give the car back its ride quality. It has the self adjusting rear shocks.

It'll depend on offset, width of wheel/tire combo and 4x4 or not. My 305/30/26's (~33" tall) barely rub at stock height on my 2WD.

You should be able to fit that with no issues as long as you have the right offset. I have the same sized tire on my escalade. And parked next to an escalade on 28s just a few days ago and his fit without making his car look jacked up

I had 305/35/24 on my Tahoe and it rubbed at full lock in reverse. I'm sure if you trimmed a little you'd be good to go.
