SO I am big into C10's, I love everything about them and I was actually looking for one prior to buying the Hoe but I figured 4wd and 4 doors is more practical.

Anywho, my truck had some clear coat cancer when I bought it and the roof and the hood had the worst of it. I fixed the hood but the roof is just primer red for now.

My question is since the lowers on my truck are silver, does anyone think that a silver roof would look good? You know like the old two tone C10's. I think it will look good just not to sure.

Personally I think it'd look out of place but maybe I'd think differently if I actually saw it done  Is there a body line up there you could follow with this silver top idea? I can't remember. What I'm picturing in my head, though, looks a bit odd! :)

BTW, I'm a C10 lover myself :rocking:

:hmm: That is definitely different from what I was picturing and looks better than what I was picturing. I would say It would look pretty good on yours and would be unique :waytogo:

Yea I think I might do it. And the indent in the body between the red and silver would be black to break it up a little.

I like to think outside the box, btw I love your C10 build.

Thanks, man! :) It'll forever be a work in progress and it's already paid for itself by how much my boys love going for rides in it with me :)

I look forward to seeing how this looks! Do you also have plans to lower it? I think that'd really complete the look nicely :) Even just a mild 2/4 drop or something

Yea plans are in the works to drop it more. I want to get a OEM set of wheels and do drop shackles and drop keys. I would really like to remove the 4wd and drop it even more but for now I think an additional 2in all around would be best. Right now I work for an engineering company and rebuild roadways so a slammed truck isnt practical for me.

I hear ya on that one. For everyday driving slammed isn't in my future either but a couple of inches still looks good. :waytogo:
