All you NBS 2001 Yukons the have de-badged your kons. I am looking for the molding behind the rear tires. GM only did it on the late 2000 and 2001 yukons. PM me if you have them. THANKS

Being an 03 model, i never had the rear molding but i dont see how anyone takes off their molding without destroying it. I tried taking my time with mine so i could keep it, but it was all jacked up when i got done lol

Yeah your right. Unless you use piano wire or fishing string, salvaging them is impossible, when removing them!

I always wondered what years had those. No offense but I think they look better without the rear ones

And +2 on the not destroying them when removing.

I know you get a lot of double takes on your rig...Why Gmc only made that front end for the pick up truck, silverados and HD's is beyond me. I always wanted to put that front clip on Yuokn or XL....Looks good

Rear moldings (to me) Just make it more uniform. I am having issues with debadging mine. I just cant do it:nono:

Most people that talk to me in person say they like my truck. I say with online people between here and GMFS it's about 50/50 whether they like it or not. I think it looks way better on the longer body than on a Tahoe though.

Personally I'm soo glad I did it just to make it different. White Suburbans are like a$$holes around me. Had to do something to make it different but not obnoxious.

I hear you about the uniformity of having all the moldings. I guess its just that Im lucky if 1 out of 10 Tahoe/Yukon s have the rear molding so I gess it just doesn't look right to me.

What's keeping you from taking the other moldings off?

I do worry about parking lots with mine. That's why I probably won't take the moldings off the wife's 07.

I can't decide how I feel about the front end. It looks cool but I don't know if I want it for mine..... I guess I'm 50/50 myself.

I'm scared to take off my door moldings for parking lots. People are assholes. That and I've got some paintwork on the bottom of one of the doors- only below the molding. I'm scared that I'll remove the molding and there'll be a damn paint line or something underneath.

I wonder how the my truck would look though with no running boards and no door moldings....

See if I had Tahoe, they would be off in a second. GMC moldings are more bold and uniform. I just love the chrome accents of the molding and the front and rear bumps. I am doing all black 24's soon,so The chrome accents will break it up and add some suttleness. When I get my Esky rack.....She'll be icing on the cake:smoke2:
