With that being said...lets get down to BIZZZNESS!

1) Its high miles so that is nothing for these trucks.
BUT make sure its been properly maintained! Has the tranny been rebuilt? Can he produce any reciepts for any of the work done? Who did the tranny work, it comes with a warranty so the place who he claims did the tranny should have the records easily availble.

2) It has a 3" lift that will cost you $300 in parts or less. WHOOPTIE ****** DO!

3) Bring it to your local SEARS, they will check out the front end FOR FREE and pull the CEL too!

4) Pop open the hood...how does she look? How do the tires look? Ever driven a Tahoe before? How does it feel compared to this one?

1. Yes the transmission is rebuilt ( one reason why I am interested ) and they say they have proof of purchase and I dont know from what shop.

2. true, But lifting a vehicle takes abit of time and its kinda nice having it finished already.

4. 1. Pretty decent standard oily dirt as in every engine. ( the concrete it was parked on was not stained with oil ) 2. Tires are nice but their down to 30% 3. No I havent but I felt king of the road when I passed a few trucks on the road and basically dwarfed them. lol


Hmm what you consider a fair price for this vehicle? There is also a LCD screen installed and four giant subs in the back ( but they lowered the price considerable when I asked for them to be removed "now $2500" )

I think $2500 is a fair and realistic price but whats your opinion?

Does any one have an idea of possible fixes that this will most likely need?

for that price it is not bad. I agree with everyone though, get the SES light checked to see what codes it's throwing.

Post the codes here, and we'll tell you if you should buy it or not. The owners say one thing, what does the onboard computer say? It could be a screaming deal, but it could easily be a major money suck. Good find though; your head is in the right place.
