I’m looking at getting my 04 Yukon SLT 4x4 up and going again as a beater/Mexico trip vehicle. I don’t want to put a lift on it, but I want to throw some off-road wheels and tires on her. What is the max size tire and wheel combo I can go with without rubbing issues or having to change gearing? I’d prefer to have a 20” wheel for visual purposes. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Especially in sand we go to San Felipe every year and get stuck people out often. My Dad’s stock size on his 06 Silverado do great.

So let’s say I do 18’s. What am I looking at tire size wise? I’d prefer not to do any fender trimming.

Looks like factory tire size for 18’s is 265/70 but others run 285/65 at the largest go to tire size calculator on line for other choices that match these. Inner fender well can be pulled back with zip ties
