I recently acquired a 99 Yukon.Wanting to make it into a mild overland rig.

Need to know what size tires I can run with no lift or should I just do a 3 inch lift.Not wanting to big since this will be my daily driver.Any guidance would be appreciated.Gonna get a new grill and headlights possibly some new bumpers eventually.Also gonna be fixing the paint and two dented doors.

Anything over 2 inches in the front probably should have control arms for lifted vehicles. I'd do 17s or 18s with 33s, but for that truck I would start doing all the maintenance on it better powerstop brakes. For paint I would use raptor liner.

On stock rims, 285/75/16 is a common upsize that will fit - usually done with an inch or so crank of the torsion bars to level it out.

I just run the 265/75/R16 BFG KO2. The truck came factory with 245s, Goodyear Wrangler pizza cutters. I got rid of those as soon as possible!

Yes brakes are getting replaced.I was gonna go with power stop as I've heard there good.I will look into the raptor liner.The thing has been sitting under a tree since 2019.
