because it is a worm drive. you really need a scanner with gm parameters to actuate it or monitor its actual position. you can try with the key only while it is removed from tb but you risk you need to mostly retracted before reinstalling it. new ones can move with some finger pressure.

no, if you tried to force it you prolly effed it up.. replace it.

sometimes you can get away with cleaning it with berrymans b12..
its just simpler to replace it.

I cleaned it with throttle body cleaner and it ran great for a couple days. no lurching at all. But then again...i also cleaned the sensor before the MAF and the MAF as well. Also my engine light goes off with one of those sensors. But my code came back as a random misfire.

the manager at Oriellys put the scanner on. its not saving a history. That is the only code it has and I believe was like P0300? Random Misfire. It had no other codes.
