I got the radio out of a 2000 Tahoe and rebulbed it.
There's a youtube video of removing and replacing the bulbs, they are soldered in but fairly easy to do if you're comfortable with a soldering iron.
If not you can get a fully refurbished one for around $200.

The bumper is LMC aftermarket. The fit was less than perfect but streching a few holes fixed that up.

The nbs 99-03 GM pickups and suv's came with the CD in the head unit and the tape in the cubby below. The cubby replacement cost me $10 from the dealer, and the headunit fits right in.

The chrome bumper with the holes in it came on diesels only, but you can get a painted one off a Z71 Tahoe. LMC will have both for a reasonable price.

and tape unit with cd in the cubby hole. the nice thing about a hoe, it goes both ways.
