Anyone here lift a denali 1500 XL? I have an 07 and heard its a pain because of the autoride (which i know i can switch out) but I also heard that the front drive shaft is different from a regular truck which makes it more difficult and more expensive. Is this true? I looked up some lift kit and didn't find anything cheaper than 2800.00 Id like to lift it about 4/6 Inches. ALSO, I am due for new tires, like now, what is the biggest size mud tires i can fit? It is currently stock height with 20" XD wheels.

Ok I'm new to this, I posted on another thread and they told me I'd be better off starting a new thread, SO here I am.

Yes you can lift it as high as you want to go. There are many kits that retain auto ride. Just need to look in the right places. The front driveshaft is needed to be a little different than regular 4wd but not impossible. How high do you really want it and tire size? What's your offset and width on those xd wheels?

I raised the front 2.5" and the rear 2".. all works perfect. I used CCM parts on a 2012 Yukon xl denali AWD

Was anyone successful in lifting their yukon with awd? None of these kits online will fit my 2007 yukon denali awd. My understanding is there is a drive shaft that will fix this? Could i get some more info on that?

I have had it lifted for 100,000 miles .. no problems.. I also recently added XHD rear could for towing… kicked the rear up slightly.. no sag with 500 lb tongue weights…
