Hi - I know I'm late to the party on a lot of this...and I've been doing my best google searching for a week or more and really striking out (except one solution that I'm not really wanting to pursue).
I have the LS 2-Door body and it has the front door speakers and the rear 4x10 headline speakers. I am getting ready to replace the factory head unit, I bought a set of 6 3/4" for the front doors, and because they are fairly cheap I also bought a 4x10 set for the headliner.
But where in the world can I find a solution for adding a pair of speakers in the rear sides? I really am not looking for anything major, this isn't going to be a show car or impress anyone but maybe me. I'd just like maybe a pair of 6 1/2' or even 6x9s in the rear. I've tried looking for any sort of fabricated/custom side panels....I'm also ok with some type of under seat sub (could be under front passenger seat, or under rear bench)...
Is it simply too much time has passed and I'm not going to find an easy off the shelf solution? The only exception I've seen is a rear barn door panel replacement and they are very thick and I'm just not interested in that look.
Anyway, maybe someone who has already done this has some advice. Thanks!
