Grab the flex plate and try to move it front to back, I`m not sure how much of it you can see in there. " I`ve never had mine off" So you may see a crack around a bolt hole or wherever it may be but shaking it will expose any damage. If you don`t see or feel anything bump the engine over to expose the other half of it and look at that side.

Starting to wonder if its the torque converter or trans only seems to do it when in gear hmm I checked the converter bolts and they seem fine to me.

Can you record an audio or video clip of the noise? Both at idle and higher up in RPM. In park and power-braked.

I would but I took it back to the trans builder it's either the convertor or trans pump from what I've been told so far
