Ignition trouble

So lately my Denali has been acting up if I go out to start with key in ignition it takes forever to start like it's struggling. But if I use remote start it fires right up. Have checked grounds and connections in engine bay. Am I dealing with something physically in he ignition switch or where else should I be looking ?

Do you have a second set of keys? If so, try those and see if they work any better.
