Im buying my first yukon

Hello everyone im new to this site and i would like to ask everyone for some advise on what to look for when buying my first yukon .I have my eye set on a 96 yukon 2door 4x4 i made an appointment with the owner to go check it out this weekend. I would greatly appreciate any pointers on what to ask,look for and check for, when i get there. Thank You

others here will probably have better pointers than me but i would ask if the transmission has had any problems. the 4L60E seems to have its fair share of problems. check the 4X4 engages, it can take a few seconds sometimes. and of course look for major leaks

Biggest things would be the intake manifold and the fuel pump. The intake manifold gaskets are known to leak so just check them and ask if they have been done. Same thing with the fuel pump, ask if it has been replaced, and if so, with what brand.
Ah, some smaller things; Cruise control, they arecommon to go bad. Check the oil cooler hoses and power steering hose for leaks.

check under hood good, good belts with no cracks shows good Maintenance. Check oil, and smell tranny fluid, should be good clean, not dark with burnt smell.
