I'm new - have nav and DVD issues

Hi

My names Richard we just bought my wife an 06 youkon xl denali. It has a few minor issues I was hoping to find some fixes for.

Buttons on the nav are warn and unreadable. Does any one make vinyl overlays? Any ideas on how to fix this?

Is cheapest place to get a new+updated one?

Rear dvd says eject load error, the previous owner had two DVDs jammed in there (I got them out). You can hear it turning just continually trying to eject a dvd. Do we skip directly to buying a factory replacement or are there some steps I can take to reset or attempt a repair?

I am not sure about getting the rear dvd player repaired. I am sure you can find a used unit on ebay. That would probably be the easiest solution. Plus, it will still integrate with the factory sound system without any extra modules or harnesses.

Cheaper to buy a factory replacement on eBay rather than paying to get yours fixed

I see.. $80 vs $200 thanks for the link on the buttons.

I'm going to talk to the dealership tomorrow and see if I can work something out but it's bought I don't really expect them to help me out.

The deductible on the warranty is $200 so I'm in that price range where it's going to be more practical for a DIY repair and swap the drives myself.

Tfb graphics made me some custom stickers for the button problems

Rear dvd we went through the warranty because my wife's new car and she didn't trust me to do it.
