Got another pic from the guy and it is indeed an HD hood. Made him an offer so let's see if he takes it. Only problem is it's fricken yellow!

I say get it and leave it painted yellow. It will compliment the butter on the popcorn.

No, not yet. I hope he wasn't offended at my offer but I'm not paying $250 for a used yellow hood. It'll probably cost me at least that much to get it painted. I'm sure he's waiting for a better offer- the question is 'how many offers is he getting?'.

Yeah, that is a bit much. Plus, it may cost even more to paint unless you prime it yourself.
I wouldn't think too many people are bidding due to the fact that it is yellow in color, but you never know.

I can't believe I didn't notice it, but on the ad, the guy listed it as a 99-02 hood.
I looked at the pics more carefully and realize it's an 03-06 hd hood.
