I'm a lot like you, dismissed GM until I bought an '02 Yukon Denali and put some 26" Dubs on it and dropped it. I've since restored the interior and it looks almost new. The "uneven" stance is something that's hard to completely eliminate with the auto ride suspension as you'll find out. I have my front as low as it can go but the rear is about 3/4" higher. I kind of like it though. These rigs are great though.
