I would be concerned with frame rust on that thing. Colorado with all the snow I bet it is crusty as a mofo under there. I live in PA and I thought the rust was bad here I bet that thing has more flakes then a box of cornflakes:lol2:

I'm a huge diesel fan and all, but even I agree that his asking price is way out of line.

It's a shame that GM quit making diesel SUV's after 1999 though....

Casey

PS.... the 6.5L is not that bad of an engine. I've owned several, and currently have 277K on mine right now!

Of course you gents well know what walking into a new car dealer will cost you.

Just bring the jar of Vaseline when you go. Plus all these recent recalls with new vehicles, if I was to go out today, with money you gave me free, I actually wouldn't know what to buy?

New Tahoes at $60K-$70K, they can keep these Atari Game laden junkers IMO.

Negotiation is the key word. And I don't think states like CO dump tons of salt like you're living in that dump known as Chicago.

Had I still had my Tahoe there in that place, I'd be seeing ashphalt through the floorboards.

Many times, in the 6 years I had my Tahoe there, it sat in my garage, while I either bussed, or walked to work during major snowfalls. The Tahoe wasn't afraid of snow, just the murderous salt, and the 10's of 1000's who couldn't drive, and got their licenses from a cracker jack box. Not to mention no insurance if they rear ended me.

The saddest thing about Diesel, the cost of fuel. It should be $2.00/gal

Thank you!

Sadly, I only average 18 mpg. I wish it was a bit higher, but the 6.5L is not as efficient as the older 6.2L's were. Still, I love the torque and ability to drive for two weeks on one tank of fuel!
