This post may get sticky for some but was wondering if there was a way around the dealer upgrading my navigation system? Is there other party software I can buy for cheaper and do it myself?
Are there any sites (I've combed the net so far with no luck) that have a download of the latest navigation software? My Denali is a 2018 and a lot of the addresses (to newer homes) is never found and I resort to using my phone that is NOT connected using Android Auto (due to needing privacy for work from texts/emails/etc.)
Appreciate any advice/help, I think that if one does purchase the install software from GM it's protected so we can't pirate it but obviously there are ways around this because I do see 3rd party ones on eBay and Amazon for less but not much less than a new one from GMC.
