All that is good, but you need gears, again, you adding the weight of 4 18s and a big box, etc. You need to offset the weight, 4.10 gears or 4.30 IMO. It will give you the most seat of the pants difference.

Your question is simple, you either make MORE horsepower, or GEAR it right. Throw a TVS supercharger on it, no problems at all.

Keep in mind you'r Ram with the 5.9 weighed in around 2000 less pounds than you're burban with more horsepower. Your trucks stock weighs in at almost three tons. That's a lot of steel to get going down the road with 290 hp and 320lbs torque. The little 5.3 is pretty stout. I'm running the Flashpaq in my shorty Kon on the 91 setting but being at 6000 ft elevation I run 89 with no pinging and it helped some but it was mainly throttle response and shifting.
