This was originally a question from rdhenderson in the LED gauge how-to sticky, comment #54.

"So I have replaced 95% of the interior lights to LEDs. However, I have something strange happening. When I went to replace the lights for the instrument panel indicators the 2 bulbs for the ABS and the Airbag appeared to be a bit different from the others. They had a twist lock base but the bulbs were not removeable. So I purchased 2 new twist lock bases and put some LEDs in there. Now the indicator lights constantly stay lit. Any thoughts?"

I am having the same issue when I replaced my stock indicator lights with LEDs and wondered if anyone has an answer for this?? Although I didn't notice any difference in the base but I wasn't looking either.

as far as the inside lights go I have replaced all but the indicator lights on the gauges. I have however just recently changed the front park/turn lights to led and both my turn indicator lights stay lit up when lights are turned on, I believe its because the system thinks the bulbs are burned out due to the low draw from the leds. I also have the stupid fast click from the turn signals when turning all this has to be fixed with the led load levelers.....Ebay has them but I am looking to get something that would be a one time deal not putting a leveler at each led..maybe someone here can shed some light (no pun) on our situation.:Handshake:

My blinkers work fine...Hmmmm Still have the ABS and airbag issue tho.. Gonna try and swap in standard lights and see if this corrects it when I have a chance.
