You tried? I figure if the mounting ring is flush against plastic... 1"-1.25" higher than panel...I'm ok with that for the sound of SUB.

Any more pics of your ENCLOSURE for JL SUB? I am going to force an 8W7 in that location.

I followed this member's install. ( the member's name is justplayinn) Keep in mind this is for the Denali's only. The Thunderform enclosure is for a 10" sub and they offer the allowable dimensions for it on their website.

I ordered the thunderform hoping it would fit in my 2001 Denali... I hated the box in the back and wanted my cargo space back...And it worked!! Here a few pics i took on the install
