How difficult/expensive is the resin?
It was very easy.
I actually dont know the brand of the actual product i used, but it seems very similar to 3m fiberglass resin, Just crystal clear instead. I got it from a carbon fiber shop to repair some car parts and he poured in into a non marked jug

Anyway:
-seal up the holes
-tape off the pretty parts of the lid to protect from drips.
-I set the whole thing on a bed of play dough on the counter top so it wouldn't move and was level
-mix up about 4 oz of resin, a few drops of hardener
-Pour in until it just covers the top of the coils
-Use a head gun if needed to get the air bubbles out
-After about 10 min its very firm, and i just drilled out the holes for the screws and the rubber insert piece.
-rock hard in about 20 mins

I did have to un solder the coils from the circuit board, which i attached to the bottom and then re solder the wires on.

I might just do this myself. I didn't realize how cheap the charger was. Do you have anymore pics of how you ran the wires?
