Just bought some rails to put on the roof rack on my 07 LS. Do they just clip on or is there some hardware to remove and I slide them on?

If my memory serves me correctly, you need to slide them in from the end cap ends of the side rails. The side rails are held on by 5 bolts per rail, so it's very easy to remove them.

Incidentally, when I took my factory rack off to put the Esky rack on, I removed the entire rack (including cross rails) as once piece since it wasn't at all clear how to slide the cross bars off. Once I got the rack off, I remember having to press some tabs with a screw driver in order to get the end caps to a point where I could slide the cross rails out.

Hopefully someone else can give you some better direction.

I think I can take it from here. I just wanted to make sure I needed to remove the end caps before I started taking things off that I might not need to. Sounds 1,2,3...

Thanks for the reply.

FOLLOW UP: Just remove 2 screws on each of the end caps and they pop right off. There is a small clip, that attaches the cap to the rail, but it comes off fairly easy. Rails slide on easily. 15 minute install.
