So I guess my gauges went out? My speedometer is stuck on 60 and the RPM's are stuck on 2,000 with no movement on either. It doesn't even show what gear I'm in or I can't see the mileage or anything. Any suggestions? I turned the truck off and it says I'm going 60 mph lol

To temporarily fix it: Turn the key forward like if your going to turn it on but don't turn it on. Just move the key back and forth fast. You will start seeing all your gauges go back to starting point. Your motors are going out. I know a guy in Ft. Worth that rebuilds them with lifetime warranty and can also put LED lights instead of bulbs. He is doing mine right now as we speak. He is putting a mulitcolor LED'S. That's right MULITCOLOR. They can change from 19 different colors and also flashes and comes with a remote transmitter. PM if you are interested. I think his price for a full rebuild (ALL gauges) is $80 and he can replace all the bulbs with new ones for $90 or $100 and LED single color for an extra $30-$40 and can also change your face with a chrome, stainless steel, or aluminum.

He came to my job in Richardson, TX. Drove an hour. Here is the pic of it done. It took him about 30 minutes.

I'd be very curious as to how this rebuild is performed.. I bet our dealership has 10-20 of these done every year... Lots of GM models have this issue.
