I have a few videos but nothing specifically WOT and fly by...i need some tho..

The catless are a little too loud but after you get used to them you wont to back to stock...one issue i do have is when im towing and when i do over 75mph...i start to get little loud...its actually not a drone to be annoying, just gets a little loud...i believe half of that is due to the blower with the smaller pulley and the magnaflow blower i have...

THis summer is to split it out the back into duals and maybe add another muffler

Those headers almost make it sound ropey. Is that how it sounds in person? I really wanna do an exhaust and am after that LS sound without being obnoxious. I wish it was a race truck, but still DD it. lol

BTW where you from in Michigan, I'm from Bay City lol

THe raspines you mention is when its cold...when i remote start it in the morning and listen to it outside its pretty raspy...give it two three minutes and it disappears....

overall it really sounds like an LS, other than the stock smooth cam...

the stock denali exhaust sounds pretty "cammed" stock...as soon as you remove that stock muffler you will lose it and get a more mellow tone...i know the engineer that designed the exhaust system for the gmt900 and he told me all the engineering that went behind the stock system...

if you get a cam...this thing will complete the LS sound i was going for as well....

im from commerce township, and been to bay city few times...used to live out in saint clair shores and we would boat all the way up there...

BTW...mine is a DD as well...just got done doing some doughnuts in the snow...

I meant to say lopey. Lol bit it sounds good, I just want that cammed sound/more open sound like you have. I like the stock exhaust at idle but it isn't loud when you get on it outside. That was pointing me towards a resonator delete. Maybe I'll cam mine one day!

Did he say the training behind the resonator or is most of the sound restricted in the muffler?

I know where that's at! I've lived all around Michigan!

I work with him so ill ask him about the resonator...but it is basically a tuned exhaust...if they want it louder at certain RPM and quieter at another, both the resonator and the muffler work together...if you notice the inside of the resonator, it will have a hole randomly into the inside chamber.. that's there for a reason...they basically tune them for all conditions...it was pretty amazing when he explained it to me...

I had a stock exhaust with just a muffler swap...i felt a little perormance out of it...but it also helped the blower was pushing more air thru it...if you want it louder, resonator will make a very very small difference...

Here is a stupid little video of the stock exhaust, magnaflow muffler and a little blower whine

That's why I'm curious. I know everything is there for a reason from the factory but if it doesn't adda little sound, no sense in me changing it! Thanks for asking him in advanced I really appreciate it!

That thing is a total sleeper in that video! nice and quiet and then you just heard a whine and she's gone!
