Your cats rattling is probably your rear O2 sensors, not the cats making the noise. Pull the rear O2 sensors out and tap the cats. They probably won't make noise.

I replaced my rear O2's awhile back and the rattling went away.

I forgot the part # but if you search my threads one of the members posted the # for the nock sensors and an updated wiring harness for them. My biggest pita doing this was just popping off the gas lines.

Thanks Ill search that then head to the dealer, or do you think somewhere like rockauto would have the new updated ones? Also what tool is that to remove the lines needed?

Just get a fuel line disconnect tool. You can pick that up at your local auto parts store.. Less than $20

That is true.. they did update to the green ones.. but they have updated again... to this totally different style. And once you get a set in your hands you'll see why. These are all metal housings, gaskets are way thicker.. just a 100% different / better design. I would not wast your time putting the "clip on / oem" style back on.. you'll be back at it doing it again sooner than later.

I did not know they have another updated set out.. I ended up getting the greens a couple months ago. From what you described, they definately seem to be way better.. At least I know what to get if and when mine crap out again. :Handshake:
