Go easy on me as I have never done any of this stuff before. I was just tired of the blue interior and figured I would give a change a go.

Looks good. I have a maroon interior and would love to change. What did you use to get it black?

For most of the panels I washed them with soap and water then scuffed with 400 grit sandpaper or red scotch brite. After they are sanded clean them with wax and grease remover or rubbing alcohol. If you want the panel to be extremely slick and smooth you do have the option of glassing it. I'm in the process of learning how to glass.
