I took the 2 back dome lights out of a 95 to put in my 98. The ones in the 95 has 3 wires orange, white, and black. My 98 has 2 wires orange and white. When I connected the 3 wire one out of the 95 to the 2 wire in my 98 ( orange and white) only the dome light came on. The black wire for the 95 light is for the reading light. What is the best way to get power to those lights? Should I patch the reading lights into the reading lights into the ones on the front roof concle and. Would that be enough power to run or should I just run a new line for power and patch them to the fuse box in the cab?

the orange wire supplies power to all light modules. the black wire is the ground wire for the switched reading lights and the white is a switched ground for the "door open" illumination. they feed off the same circuits as fronts do and the fuse is more then capable of handling it.
