Hey guys its been a while. My old 99 escalde gave me a good run but last year i had to part ways with it. It had just ate its 3rd transmission and i was done throwing money at it.

So a couple weeks ago i picked up this 07 escalde ext with 110k on it. I bought it at a ford dealer of all places. So far it has its fair share of typical gm issues that helped me negotiate them down about 7k from the sticker price. My favorite was turning the midgate the wrong way and saying it didnt work which was the whole reason for going with the ext. Guy had no clue. First thing to fix was motor mounts. Holy crap what a job that was. Also i have the famous dash cracks. its not the actual dash but the plastic piece just behind the windshield. Its currently sitting on 24" giovanni wheels. not my taste but they dont look bad on the truck. they have new rubber on them so ill probably kleep them for a bit.

Lol, Ford guys! You got a sweet deal. I liked the old Escapade too. Gonna do some mods? You know we love that stuff around here! :driver:

Right now its going to be fixing stuff. this is my wifes truck as shes the one who needs a truck. go figure. Not to mention i cant afford to drive this thing daily at 75 miles round trip to and from work. So far the dash crack and exhaust is going to be priority.. the exhaust in this thing is so hacked up its not even funny. but depending on what i do for exhaust a call to black bear might be in order as well. I purchased a power train warranty for this thing just in case. never know what shade tree mech the PO took it to. I figure shi^^y work will show its self in 10-20k miles.
