Do you know someone with a 5S you can try it with? I can't imagine the blue tooth interface is any different between the two, but it may give you a chance to prove them it isn't the 6's fault.

Also make sure you have the latest IOS version on your 6 as there has been some bug fixes released over the last 30 days.

How cool would it be if American products worked REALLY well with American products and only had issues with I dunno... German or Japanese products.

You know how neat if the American Companies actually worked together to deliver a superior product.

Seems to me Tim Cook and whoever is running GM have an oppty to take Samsung by the shorts. I buy Apple Products because I know a lot of americans that work for that American Company. I buy GM products because my Grandfather torqued my head in to finding value in it.....

Seems to me there is an oppty being missed here. Maybe it is being missed on purpose?

I wish that Apple just designed the GM nav/entertainment system.

I only got the Iphone 6 about 4 weeks ago. Before that I had the Iphone 5 with the latest iOS. It worked perfectly.

From what I have read, the new iOS on the 6 is having problems with about all car manufactures, foreign and domestic.

Previously, it was reported that iOS 8.1 had a Bluetooth fix for issues that "could" cause connections failures. AUTO Connected Cars discovered that the update only helped with few newer model vehicles.

Bluetooth and USB connection problems have been reported with many car models such as BMW, Audi, GM(Chevy, GMC, Cadillac, Buick), Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Mazda, Lexus, Fiat, Hyundai, Honda, Citroen, Pontiac, Volkswagen, Volvo, Dodge and more.

Sounds like it's more of an Apple problem then a GM problem.

I tried it again last night....with the Iphone6 on bluetooth only, it will play music. Then, I plugged it in to USB (the one under the center console that I have always used) and then lost bluetooth (as it should) then I selected source, Iphone6, (from steering wheel), it recognized my phone, I then searched artist, selected it, the screen showed album and song (with pic) then silence......as if not playing song.

I will see if I can find another Iphone6 to try.

It just seems like every time I plug it in something different happens.

Thanks,
Steve

I have the same problem with mu iphone6, happens in my 2014 Corvette as well. Really sucks.

My Iphone 6 has worked perfectly from day one. It auto connects via Bluetooh, and would play my itunes. I have copied all my tunes to a fob, and keep it plugged into the white USB behind the screen for listening to the music.

When I hit "Media" it will play tunes from the iphone, and if I hit "Media" again it switches to the fob in the usb port.

My phone calls come and go from my iphone in my 2015 Tahoe. All of it works fine.
