And I just discovered that I CAN access the ipod/aux in on the headphone jacks in the rear. I can skip forward and back on the ipod with the rear controls IF the head unit is on radio or CD.

You guys who are running a 03 and up chevy with xm radio have to wait no more for the quality of sound with your ipod through your car stereo! You don't need any expensive wiring harness or any fm modulators. I found a article from another forum and decided to give it a shot and it worked great.

just did this little mod and it worked out wonderful! cat5 wire works great because its sleeved. either way its a great little mod. sounds great.

hey you guys that have the Isimple for ipod, when you change songs on your radio, for the ipod, does it get loud when changing songs. I just noticed it today, it gets loud when switching then goes back to normal?

IIRC....I read on a thread discussing ipod interfaces, that there was a setting in the "settings" feature of your ipod that was supposed to be on to correct this.
