99 Tahoe with 4L60E. Of course I'm attempting to change the trans fluid, which is why the bracket needs to come off. I've seen a diy that says the bolt requires a T40. T40 is definitely too big for mine. T30 is too small. Is it possible that it's a T35? Or do I have a stripped bolt lol. It would help if I could see, but I can't.

And if it's a T35, do you know if Harbor Freight might have it? I know Sears has it online, and can get it in the store special order. But I want it now hehe.

No. It's dirty. Not burned, but not nice and pink either. Sorta a tannish pink. 132k miles on trans, did a pan drop and filter change about 12k miles ago, but of course that doesn't get the torque converter or the cooler. I think my 7 quarts of old fluid contaminated the approximately 5 quarts of new fluid I put in.

I might be pulling a 3000-lb trailer 600 miles next weekend, which is why I need to get it done now.

edit: and sunlit, the bracket definitely curves under the pan flange. I don't know how I'd get the pan to clear everything with it in place. There's about an inch between the pan flange and the bracket, and they overlap by about 1/2 to 3/4 inch.
