I have been using castrol edge full synthetic 5w30 high mileage in my 2001 gmc Yukon with 325,000 on it and have never had any issues. I also run a k and n oil filter and have heard a lot of good things about the wix oil filters. I believe Napa's brand oil filter is actually made by wix but i have never used one before.
