is it really a 6.0 liter?

This past week i picked up a 98 Yukon 4door 4wd, and after i ran the VIN it came back saying it came with a 6.0 liter engine, problem is i dont know if this is either the original engine or the same size, is there anyway to tell and does anyone know the specs for the 6.0?

I don't think the 6.0 came out until the ls series engines came out

Well I don't know, the VIN came back as a 6.0l the VIN don't lie as far as I know

Could be a late production model because info I checked on says the 6.0 started in 1999.

I'll check the manufacture date when I get home. But in any case how can I find out what engine it is for sure?

R is a 5.7 engine and a U is the 6.0 engine
