It is NOT a 4L60. At all. Not even in the ball park. It’s pretty hard to rebuild something you can’t get parts for. Try again.

clutch packs are not hard to get, sorry if you broke the spines on the sun gears (operator error), again a 2WD version is identical to a 4x4 version besides the knob end of the transmission output shaft being different...

I didn’t break anything, what on earth are you talking about? And when did I ask about the difference between a 2WD or a 4WD? I’m quite aware of the difference… I don’t have a hybrid because I know better.

The fact the core support needed to be replaced is a big deal. What about hood and fenders, if so, quality of paint work?

I believe it could be fixed good as new, but they are asking a price on a pristine vehicle with what would have meticulous service records and no accidents, including new tires comparable to OE.

OP when you need to resell it, those 2 accidents will come back to haunt you, unless you plan to keep it.

I posted before about a similar 2007 Tahoe that the dealer is still asking $29K for! Been for sale for almost a year. Lincoln dealer has a 2019 Navigator with a branded title that has been sitting on their lot for over a year @ $60K, which is at least $10K overpriced. I have seen little or no relief in pricing here in SE WI. The 2 Chevy dealers near me are lucky if they have 15 new vehicles combined......

IMO, the wreck stuff worries me, because the low mileage things to look at, I would pick apart when I inspect it. I just do not like previously wrecked vehicles. Higher mileage I can deal with but wrecked before, not me.

Agreed .. I looked at a 2018 with 50k miles on it .. had a wreck and when the dealer went through the inspection before releasing to me I had noted the steering had play in it .. come to find out Rack & Pinion was worn out and it needed an additional $7k in work ultimately cancelled that deal went and got a 2017 with 88k miles for $4k less and its a prior CPO

My opinion is time is a bigger issue than mileage. My experience is newer high mileage vehicles will be more reliable than older low mileage. I would love to find a 2 year old with 100k miles, I would buy that hands down over a 10 year old truck with 25k.

Bought my 2013 Texas Edition for half of that in May. Clean carfax and 109000 miles. One small tear in seat. Can't find anything wrong with it. Keep looking, you'll find a better deal.

If you are the market, expand your search pattern. I'm in Florida and to get what we wanted bought trucks in North Carolina, Idaho and Oklahoma.

I would rather buy a vehicle with 80-150k miles with no accidents. That thing could have been sitting not repaired for long times especially with multiple accidents.


I would also skip to a k2xx chassis for that dollar amount. I love nnbs vehicles but they’re not the best quality interior wise.
