Is my RPM to high? 2K @ 70 MPH

The tire sizes are the factory setup. Tires, gears, and tranny are all factory setup sizes and adjustments. I have had both trucks looked at by the local dealer and they tell me I just got lucky with the Tahoe as they say it should be the same as the Yukon and if anything the Tahoe should be running at a higher RPM than the Yukpn due to a smaller engine. I just ned to figure out how to get more MPG from the Yukon and thought if I could find out how to get it to run at the same or closer to the RPM of the Tahoe I would be where I wanted to be. The Tahoe gets great mileage even with my lead foot. 15 to 17 around town depending on traffic and 19 to 20 on the highway.
